Sir,
The uprising of civil society with the support of NGO's proved that India can route out the social evil only if we stand as one without political affiliation. Anna Hazare became the tall leader to give the jump start for the Government to lead in accepting all demands and thus silencing the critics and blockers. Now we need to see if all those political parties who pledged support will allow the smooth flow and not let it slow down as in the case of the women's bill.
But this victory should be taken by the citizens into all forums. For a free India to emerge we need citizens to be law abiding, determined to take responsibility and exhibit discipline.
Stop paying bribes, pay due taxes, show civic sense in cleanliness, traffic discipline and grant of priorities.
In India the numbers within the tax net is still to grow which means a lot of citizens evade tax. Also even with a strong law the implementation in our large diverse country will be the most challenging part as even in the many countries where the law is strict there are many cases of bribes or assisted unlawfulness.
Though we can protest it must be not putting the government in a siege which can at times destabilize our growth/progress. Hence these forums /media must educate the public at all levels.
Do not accept or elect politicians who have hidden agendas, have communal, terror or mafia links. All religious leaders must contribute to society building for a fair society with amenities- assist in building roads/bridges/footpaths/
This is the beginning of a New formation and must pave the beginning of the new era in Modern India.
